Still feel like blogging

The picture of the day.
The picture of the day.

I don’t have a picture in mind to put at the top of the post, so whatever is there is something I found after I was done writing.

The end of the beginning

A rainy day and a city road.
A rainy day and a city road.

Someday, it might be in my best interest to stop with the dramatic post titles. But, honestly, sometimes it just works.

Nice things

A nice clarinet with an unfortunate defect.

Everybody has a love-hate relationship with nice things. They’re nice, for sure, and they can be fun, good for learning, and nice to look at.

Counting down

Starting to love this place.
Starting to love this place.

I couldn’t help but head back downtown for another half an hour to take a few more pictures of neat-looking spots. The weather hasn’t improved at all since last week or the week before, so this really is springtime. At least that gives all of the photos a similar feel.

Corrections

A street corner.
A street corner.

I was reading yesterday’s post and I just couldn’t help but make a few corrections and additions.

Touching concrete

The city at work.
The city at work.

I’m back at Starbucks, which is where I do all my blogging now. I’m like a diplomat, but instead of being surrounded by the law of my home country, I’m surrounded by 2012.

Today, tomorrow

The end of a world
The end of a world

I finally figured out Creative Commons attribution — Wikimedia Commons puts the proper attribution in HTML form for you to copy-and-paste when you download an image. This one’s the “end of a world” — feels epic. Somehow, I’m in the mood for that kind of thing at the moment.

It’s already been a week since I came back from home for spring break, so it’s true what they say about time flying — it happens all the time, and you can’t do anything about it.

Halfway there

The essence of modern life.
The essence of modern life.

As in, halfway through the semester. Feels like progress.

What to do today?

My green iPod.
My green iPod.

I like organizing and cleaning, and my mom seems to be on board with me doing that here now that I’m home. So, maybe, that’s what I’ll do.

The rest of my week

I saw this a while ago. Mr. Potato Head says hi.
I saw this a while ago. Mr. Potato Head says hi.

I went searching the Internet for Mandopop out of interest & now I can’t get the cheesy KTV songs out of my head…
